Keep us up to date on here on the roll-out!

Colin.Colinhttp://www.edutechniques.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6040524831337878007.post-64083554967649399802012-08-08T10:25:28.385+05:302012-08-08T10:25:28.385+05:30Hi Colin,

We are allowing 2 devices per teacher and student, so for example a laptop and an iPad. Teachers and students must have a laptop as their first device - they can't just decide to use only an iPad for example. There is quite a lot to do before we allow connections - checking anti-virus software, recording serial numbers of devices and MAC addresses, installing remote desktop and so on. It's an interesting process.Maggie Hos-McGranehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06906722339671067160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6040524831337878007.post-88144591620310576412012-08-08T04:38:49.966+05:302012-08-08T04:38:49.966+05:30Hi Maggie, sounds like a great start to the year!
...Hi Maggie, sounds like a great start to the year!

Just wondering on the BYOD setup. Are there restrictions on the devices or are teachers just given the wifi password (or is is put in for them?) and away they go?Colin G.http://www.edutechniques.comnoreply@blogger.com
