The IB Learner Profile - Risk Taker

Another video from my son (thanks Joal!).  The IB defines being a risk taker in the following way:

They approach unfamiliar situations and uncertainty with courage and forethought, and have the independence of spirit to explore new roles, ideas and strategies. They are brave and articulate in defending their beliefs.

A great message here:  if you've never failed, you've never lived.

  1. Hi Maggie,
I have just been appointed ICT/tech specialist at KIS in Bangkok which will be my first PYP teaching position. I'm sure the learning curve will be steep as I adapt from the ENC but it's something I've wanted to do for several years now. It was great meeting you when you were at NIST and I appreciate the help and advice you gave when I visited.
I'm glad to have found your blog which I'm sure will serve as a valuable resource. I hope all is well in Switzerland.
    Regards,
    David
